Titel:

„Disaggregation, DevOps and Edge Clouds Applied in Carrier Infrastructures“

Abstract:

With Access 4.0, Deutsche Telekom plans to replace conventional telco infrastructures with software-driven, open, disaggregated, microservice-based, highly automated network functions.
With this talk, we give an overview over some useful technologies, architectures, software development principles and operational conventions for a carrier edge cloud.
We provide an overview over software-defined networking, Git workflows for large teams, DevOps processes, containers, container managers / Kubernetes, and how to build and operate an edge cloud.
