Venue: S2|02 room C110 (Robert-Piloty building, Hochschulstr. 10, 64289 Darmstadt)

Abstract:

The talk will cover new findings in the field of network coding, a key technology for the Tactile Network and advocate for the usage in 5G Communication Systems. Network coding is the enabler for efficient multi path communication improving throughput, reselience, and security. Furthermore network coding has the potential to break with the trade off between latency and resilience of state of the art end to end coding techniques and offer also low latency and resilience at the same time. The talk is aligned with several applications of network coding in current future application fields.
